Our team have carefully curated every aspect, from the moment you book your trip up to your return back to your resort. Why should I choose Alli Nui?

At Ali’i Nui, we take pride in treating our guests like royalty. Our vessels are the most luxurious on the island, ensuring an exceptional experience for everyone on board. We provide state-of-the-art equipment, gourmet cuisine, premium drinks, and unmatched customer service. Whatever your needs, we will accommodate them to ensure your time with us becomes the highlight of your Maui adventure.

Do you offer transportation?

Yes! Shuttle service is available from condos and resort complexes on the West and South side of the island. Please note that shuttle service is not included in the ticket price, and pickup options vary depending on the specific trip.

Can I bring my kids on board?

Absolutely! Our snorkel charters, family sunset sails, and whale watches are perfect for all ages. The shaded cabin offers a comfortable space to escape the sun and wind. Plus, children 3 years and under sail free! Please note that some of our experiences are exclusively for adults.

Do I need to bring my own towels or sunscreen?

We provide our guests complimentary local reef-safe, non-chemical sunscreen that adheres to local guidelines to protect our waters. Guests are welcome to bring their own as well, so long as it also adheres to local guidelines. We provide a plush cabana towel for each guest on board.

Do I need to know how to swim to go snorkeling?

We always recommend that our guests are comfortable in the water if they intend to snorkel. While we do provide flotation equipment such as float belts, pool noodles, and boogie boards, there is no area for guests to stand once they are in the water.

Do you offer any special discounts?

All local residents possessing a valid state ID can enjoy our Kama’aina discount. Additionally, we offer a discount for our military and first responders.

How many people go on your trips?

Our sailing catamarans are certified to carry over 100 passengers each, but to maintain comfort and luxury, we never reach full capacity. Our snorkel tours and whale watches are limited to around 60 guests, while our adults-only dining experiences accommodate fewer than 45 guests.

What is your cancellation policy?

Any cancellations or adjustments made outside of 48 hours from the tour date will result in a full refund. If the cancellation or adjustment must be made within the 48-hour window, please contact our reservations department to discuss your options. In most cases, refunds will not be authorized within the 48-hour window.

Trip Protection is available for purchase which allows your tickets to be refunded, rescheduled or converted into a gift card up until 2 hours prior to departure.

Is there parking at the harbor?

Should you decide not to add shuttle transportation to your charter, there is parking available at Ma’alaea Harbor. Slip 56 is located on the outside (ocean side) pier, about half-way down. Guests are welcome to park on the pier near the boat, if available. Please be aware this is paid parking and can be reserved using the ParkWhiz app or via the QR signs posted throughout the harbor.

Can I book an Alli class yacht for a private charter?

Absolutely! We have a dedicated team to take care of large groups and special charter requests. Give us a call or fill out our interest form so that we can learn more about what you’re hoping to do! Whether it’s a wedding, company party, or just a large group, we’re here to make your trip perfect.

What happens in the case of bad weather?

If foul weather occurs, our captain(s) may decide to cancel the charter. In such cases, our team will reach out to all guests to discuss alternative options.

Can I still snorkel if I wear glasses?

We carry a wide variety of prescription snorkel masks for guests that need corrective lenses.
We can provide prescriptions from -1.5 to -6.0 in 0.5 increments. Inform a reservationist or crew member and we will do our best to accommodate your needs!

Are there bathrooms on board?

Yes! Both of our sailing catamarans are equipped with two spacious bathrooms for your convenience.

Is your vessel handicap accessible?

In order to access Alli Nui, guests will need to walk down a pier and step across a gap onto the dock. A crew member will be there to assist with the large step. Additionally, there are 2-4 steps down into the cabin and to the restrooms. We cannot accommodate walkers or wheelchairs onboard the vessel.
